Sudeep, known as Actor Kichcha Sudeep, lost his mother, Saroja Sanjeev, to age-related ailments at a private hospital in Jayanagar on Sunday morning. She was 86 years old. Sudeep was reportedly present by her side in her final moments. Saroja had been dealing with health issues for a few years, and her condition worsened recently. Her body was taken to Sudeep's residence in JP Nagar for well-wishers to pay their respects before her last rites were conducted at Wilson Garden crematorium the following day. Sudeep has frequently shared anecdotes about his close relationship with his mother and how she has influenced his life and career. During the promotion of his 2022 film, Vikrant Rona, Sudeep mentioned that his mother was from Mangaluru and he has a special fondness for the Tulu language.
